LiftOff is a pre-incubation program designed to help early-stage founders transform ideas or MVPs into scalable ventures. The program provides soft infrastructure benefits worth ₹1 Lakh, funding opportunities, access to relevant industry connections, experienced mentors, and a collaborative co-working space. With a unique phygital approach—blending digital resources with on-ground support—LiftOff equips founders with real-time insights and practical guidance to validate, build, and scale their startups effectively.

The Startup Pitch Deck Competition 2025, held on 23rd August at GL Bajaj Center for Research & Incubation, showcased 25 teams and over 80 student innovators presenting transformative ideas. Organized by E-Cell under NEC as part of IIT Bombay’s Eureka! B-Plan Competition, the event celebrated innovation, entrepreneurship, and collaboration. With the support of the Director, judges, and ambassadors, the competition provided an inspiring platform for learning, networking, and shaping future ventures.

The “Cheers to Peers” luncheon at GL Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management brought together founders, investors, and ecosystem enablers for meaningful conversations and collaboration. With the support of the Director, GLBITM and GLBCRI teams, and ecosystem partner TiE Delhi-NCR, the event highlighted the power of community in building a thriving innovation ecosystem. Special appreciation was given to Rajesh Ranjan and Maneesh Shrivastava for their contributions to making the gathering a success.

On 16th May 2025, 2nd-year CS-DS students visited GLBCRI and the Patent Cell at G. L. Bajaj Institute of Technology & Management. The session familiarized them with the innovation ecosystem, research initiatives, and intellectual property creation and protection, sparking curiosity about patents, prototypes, and new possibilities.

The two-day event “Cultivating the Spirit of Innovation and Entrepreneurship,” held on 25th–26th April 2025 at GL Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management, introduced first-year students to the world of startups and leadership. Esteemed speakers including Mr. Sandeep Jain, Mr. Abhishek Tiwari, Dr. Saryu Prasad Mishra, Dr. Shashank Awasthi, and Dr. Rajesh Singh shared valuable insights on innovation ecosystems and entrepreneurship. Special appreciation was given to Prof. Preeti Bajaj and Dr. R.K. Mishra for fostering a culture of innovation. The program marked the beginning of a new wave of ambition among young innovators.

GLBCRI, in collaboration with the Department of CSE-AI at GL Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management, hosted an insightful session on Safer Internet Day. The event focused on cyber safety, responsible digital practices, and online security, equipping students and faculty with knowledge to foster a safer online environment.

A strategic entrepreneurship competition sponsored by our incubated startup Digimoga, featuring 30 teams presenting innovative revival strategies for defunct companies. The event celebrated creativity, business acumen, and startup culture.

GL Bajaj Center for Research and Incubation conducted an insightful seminar on “Setting Up Startups and Financial Supports for Startups,” engaging Electrical Engineering students from GL Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management to inspire and guide their entrepreneurial journey.

GL Bajaj Centre for Research & Incubation and CSE-AIML, GLBITM, Greater Noida, in collaboration with U.P. Electronics Corporation Ltd., Govt. of Uttar Pradesh, organized a workshop aimed at empowering young entrepreneurs under the YUVA initiative for Viksit Bharat.

A seminar on “Basics of Intellectual Property Rights and Its Importance for Innovators and Entrepreneurs” was conducted on 27th November 2024, focusing on raising awareness about IPR fundamentals and its role in protecting and fostering innovation and entrepreneurship.

Innovative Leap 3.0: Prototyping the Future was held on 10th August 2024 at GL Bajaj Center for Research & Incubation, Greater Noida. The event guided startups and entrepreneurs through the journey from idea to prototype and was open to all innovators.

Three mentee schools visited GL Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management for an enriching Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) experience. Students explored creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship through interactive sessions at the Bootcamp, Incubation Centre, and Centre of Excellence, making it a fantastic journey of learning and growth.

A two-day outcome-based training program on Additive Manufacturing and PCB Designing was conducted for over 120 participants with experts from CDAD. The program was sponsored by DST NIDHI PRAYAS in collaboration with AVITHA Club and the ECE Department, providing participants with hands-on learning and practical exposure.

On 28th February 2024, a felicitation ceremony was held to honor the winners of the Startup Ideation Competition and appreciate the contributions of the esteemed jury. Mr. Sanjay Shrotriya, Co-founder & Head at BrainSaas Technologies, delivered an inspiring address highlighting the legacy of scientific pioneers and their impact on modern innovation. The event was graced by Dr. Manas Kumar Mishra (Director, GLBITM), Dr. Purnendu Shekhar Pandey (SMIEEE) (GM, GLBCRI), Dr. Naresh Kumar (Dean, ACSE), and Mr. Abhishek (Founder, Mali Kaka Pvt. Ltd.), celebrating creativity and encouraging future innovation.

National Science Day 2024 was celebrated with a Startup Idea Competition, showcasing innovative ideas from students. Congratulations to the winners — Alok Singh Jadaun (ECE), Jayant Sharma (IT), and Abhishek Yadav (CS-DS) — for their outstanding contributions.

National Youth Day 2024 was celebrated on 12th January 2024 at GLBITM, featuring a keynote address by Dr. S.P. Mishra, who inspired students to embrace perseverance, social responsibility, and entrepreneurial paths for societal impact. The event promoted youth empowerment and innovation, with attendees actively engaging on social media through #YouthEmpowerment2024, pledging to contribute meaningfully to society.

Energy Conservation Day brought together students from diverse disciplines to advocate for sustainable practices. The event featured a powerful panel discussion highlighting the urgent need for collective action to address the link between energy consumption and climate change, inspiring attendees to adopt eco-conscious habits.
